As we’ve all experienced, some people live with special needs. Unknown to some people, some animals live with needs as well.
In this case, three kittens live with the same special brain condition. They go by the Powerpuff Girl kittens: Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles (you remember that old 90s cartoon right?)
Special needs come in lots of different forms. As a caretaker, it sometimes gets hard to know how to handle these needs. Most effective, you should give them lots and lots of love. With some help and patience, the animals improvements soon become quite apparent.
These kittens got off to a very rough start. When they were born, doctors saw they had a neurological condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia. This causes their movement to be jerky and uncoordinated. Basically, it makes it really difficult for them to do simple things that any other kitten might be able to do.
With this, doing simple everyday kitten tasks becomes very difficult. Lucky for these kittens, the Kitten Rescue Nursery took them into their arms.
A volunteer designed wheelchairs fit for these three kittens. With the help of the wheelchairs, the kittens could stay upright on their feet. Typically, this tends to be very hard for the kittens on their own. Their wheelchair colors even match the Powerpuff girls! If you’ve never watched the show before, Blossom is all pink, Bubbles is all blue, and Buttercup is all green.
