Everybody who owns a pet knows that the pet is just as much part of the family as any other person in the household. Everybody shows unconditional love and care towards the animals. The idea of a pet suddenly missing breaks anybody’s heart. Unfortunately, this family had to deal with this.
Paula William’s family’s dog, Kace, went missing for more than a month. The family almost gave up the hope they had for finding Kace. The family let Kace outside to go to the bathroom. When they went to let him in, the family could not find Kace.
Only a week after they lost their dog, the town experienced a blizzard. The snow coated the houses and streets with almost 20 inches. The family feared for Kace’s safety if she was lost in the cold.
Nearly 8 months later, Paula became stuck behind a school bus on her way home. When two little girls got off the bus, she saw Kace sprinting towards them. Paula rushed out of her car and cried, “That’s my son’s dog!”
Thankfully, the girls’ family found Kace before the snowstorm and brought him into the warmth where they took care of him. If they had not have helped Kace, Kace could’ve died.
A feeling of relief washed over Paula as she held Kace in her arms. She brought Kace home where she surprised her 6-year-old son. They captured the heartwarming reunion on camera. The boy and his dog were inseparable ever since they bought Kace.
