A Staffordshire Bull Terrier in the U.K. was the victim of one of the cruelest acts. He was dumped off by his owner on a street. Before driving away, the man threw the dog’s bed out on the street. The dog seemed unphased at first, perhaps perplexed at what was going on. Then when the man runs to the car and quickly shuts the door, the dog seems to panic.
I found it hardest to watch the dog jump up and down at the car door as if he was pleading with his person to please let him in and not leave him.
Dog Panicking Is Caught On Video
It’s hard to learn of cruelty happening to animals, but to see it is even harder. Thankfully, when cruelty to animals is caught on video, there is a chance of catching the criminal. Hopefully, the more people who read and share this story will help in catching the man who dumped this dog off on the side of the road.
The dog is now being taken care of at a private boarding kennel according to RSPCA. He has been given the name Snoop. It was discovered that he has a microchip and two former owners, but neither were responsible for this crime. Natalie Perehovsky, an inspector for the RSPCA said, “The footage has to be seen to be believed. It’s just awful. To see the poor dog in such obvious distress jumping up at the car as it drives away is just heartbreaking. I can’t understand how someone could do this.”
Snoop Is “Such A Friendly, Lovely Boy”
The personnel at the kennel where Snoop is being cared for said that he is “such a friendly, lovely boy.” He is thought to be approximately two years of age and in good condition.
Perehovsky said that “Anyone who recognizes the vehicle, the dog or the men in the footage can contact me in complete confidence.”
Let’s help by sharing this story so that these perpetrators are caught and punished for such a cruel act.
