Inseparable Dogs Touch Constantly Since They Showed Up At The Shelter, Adorable Duo

Bill Writher’s wrote a song with these lyrics “Lean on me when you’re not strong. I’ll be your friend, I’ll help you carry on.” If there was ever a song that stood for a friendship rooted in trust through the good and the bad, then this is the song that represents two shelter dogs from Arizona… Bonnie and Clyde.

Bonnie and Clyde were brought in to the Maricopa County Animal Care & Control after they were found roaming the streets of Arizona together.  While their history is unknown, it seems that the pair share a past bonded in trust and friendship.  Seldom are the two dogs not touching each other. Clyde’s favorite resting place is on top of Bonnie’s back.  Bonnie seems to like that her furry friend is often perched on her back and always by her side.  The two even snuggle up together when Clyde isn’t on top of Bonnie.

Because of the obvious bond, they shared when coming into the rescue, the compassionate people at the center decided to let them stay in the same kennel together.  After observing them so close in proximity that they are always touching each other, the shelter employees hoped that they would get adopted together.  The duo was placed on social media. It didn’t take long for them to get national attention.

Thankfully the desires of both the shelter staff and the dogs came true when a family who wanted to adopt came into the shelter and quickly became smitten with the two dogs.  They decided to take them both! Now Bonnie and Clyde will never have to be separated and can enjoy a life together with less stress. The dogs look just as happy as the humans in this photos as they are all ready to start their new lives together.
