Buttercup, the family’s beloved dog had been missing for 12 days. Family members put up posters all over the town. Many missing dog stories sadly end right about here with no finality. Thankfully this is not one of those stories. This true story has a joyful ending.
Buttercup was found. Her human mom drives her home to be reunited with the family. “Look who I found,” she sings as she drives home. “Now, we’re on our way home to surprise daddy!” She joyfully exclaims. This story could end here and still put a smile on peoples’ faces.
But the story doesn’t end here. Caught on video is the joyful reunion for all to enjoy. As Buttercup and her human mom drive up to their house, you can see Buttercup’s dad come running full speed to the car when he sees his dog. He looks like he’s in an all-out 100-meter sprint race, as he dashes to the car. A brief moment of the door not being open puts him in a frenzy. He pounds on the door as if he can’t wait one more second.
