Have you ever been locked out of your house? It can be a frustrating experience. If you are fortunate enough to find a window open, you may be able to crawl through. Or maybe you have a family member or someone else to call who may have a key. Well, for one lady, she wasn’t locked out for long because her cat helped to let her back in.
Gabby Tropea briefly left her home to take her sister Isabelle to school. The trip went by without incident. When she returned home, she found her sister had locked the door. Unfortunate for Gabby, she did not bring her keys.
Inside the house was Gabby’s cat, Boko. Gabby rescued Boko as a stray living on the campus where Gabby went to school in Texas. Boko and Gabby became fast friends.
Boko Removes The Stick So That Gabby Can Open The Door
Gabby described what happened. According to Gabby, “I got to the front door and Boko could hear me trying to get in. He started crying and scratching at the door.” She went on, “I went to the back patio and he saw me waiting there. He started rubbing his face on the stick and I was encouraging him to mess with it. I was coaching him to lift it up.”
Gabby and Boko obviously have a very close relationship to be able to communicate this well. It didn’t take long for Boko to lift the stick. “He understood what I was trying to tell him and he started lifting it up!” Gabby explained.
Boko and Gabby were happy to be reunited. Gabby hurried and opened the door to thank her sweet kitty for letting her in. Gabby captured this on video for us all to enjoy. The video really shows the power of a strong bond between a girl and her cat.
