Someone Wrote 'Free' And 'Good Home Only' On This Sweet Girl Before Dumping Her In A Park

Luckily, someone found this little girl just in time. Not long ago, someone found a dog on her own in a park. They couldn’t believe their eyes when they realized that someone had written “free” and “good home only” right on her sides and face with a permanent marker.

GOOD SAMARITAN

A good Samaritan found the lonely dog in a park in Ohio. They took the dog to a local shelter in the area called the Ross County Humane Society. The manager at the shelter, Brittany May, was so infuriated by what she saw that she did something out of the ordinary for her and took to social media.

“So I usually try to contain myself with my work life and with what I see every single day, but this just tops it off! How are you going to dump your dog, and write FREE all over it in permanent marker! I just don’t get it! Anybody know this dog? Found dumped at the armory down in the park! This is a whole new level of low.”

‘A WHOLE NEW LEVEL OF LOW’

This is indeed a whole new level of low. Right now, the sweet dog is located at a shelter and is up for adoption to a home that won’t just throw her away. If you are interested in adopting “this sweet girl” contact the Ross County Humane Society website and let them know you are available.

Listen up, everyone. We bring you stories like this quite often. People dump dogs every day. Let’s start to think about what we can do, as a community, to stop that from happening.

We report it when we see children being abused. Do you do the same thing for animals? Do you call your local animal control when you see something untoward happening to an animal, or do you turn away thinking that it’s none of your business?

It’s well past time that we stopped turning away. Call it out when you see it or let someone know in a professional capacity so they can check it out. Animals need our voices even more than kids do because they don’t have one of their own.
