Water sports are extremely fun because it puts us in a new environment and pushes us out of our comfort zone. Wakeboarding, a common water sport, can be super entertaining, but also really hard to accomplish. When a woman decided to spend her day out in the water wakeboarding, it may have been one of the best decisions of her life. Why? This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for her.
It was a beautiful day on the California coast, while she was out on the Ocean boating with friends. After wakeboarding for a while the group of people began to notice fins. Luckily, these fins did not belong to sharks but dolphins! She has a pod of dolphins surfing the waves with her.
Wyatt Miller, a friend of hers and also a professional on the water, recorded the event. The footage is unbelievable. The group thought that on their journey they would only see a jellyfish or maybe one or two dolphins. They were pleasantly surprised when a whole pod came to say hello.
The woman explained,
This was definitely one of the TOP three afternoons of my LIFE!!!
If you watch the video below you will understand why this woman enjoyed her afternoon so much. The cute sea creatures follow her throughout her journey on the sea. They are definitely friendly and enjoy her presence, as much as she enjoys theirs. After her day on the water, she will never forget the experience. She hopes that one day that maybe she could do this again, along with the dolphins.
Dolphins are social with not only themselves but humans too!
Dolphins are social mammals, capable of enjoying their lives. They form close bonds with other members of their group.
